About the Artist
Linda Curtis
Signature Member of CWA & ISAP
I was born in the coal regions of Pennsylvania (Pottsville). My surroundings were depressingly grey, and this inspired me to see my world in vibrant color. I earned my BFA in Painting from the Philadelphia College of Art. My paintings have been accepted to many national and international shows.
I teach watercolor on cruise ships and hold workshops and demonstrations in all water media. I also give individual classes at my home in Brentwood, CA.
Most of the paintings on this site are casein which is a favorite medium of mine.
In addition to winning awards nationally, statewide and locally, I'm a signature member of the California Watercolor Association (CWA) and the Society of Acrylic Painters (ISAP).
